Create-ivity - Exercise

Exercise is the adrenaline for your creative mind. As you exercise, you oxygenate and this process feeds through to your brain, stimulating, relaxing, expanding and nurturing it. The old adage that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind is spot on. More importantly exercise will stimulate your creativity.

But the key is to perform a soulful, relaxing form of exercise in the 'environs' of your choice. For some it could be a lazy walk in the park, for others a jog by the lake, others a skydive, some Yoga and many just a stroll.

Make sure that you exercise where the mind will wander. Open spaces and green fields can be highly productive - so too expansive vistas on top of buildings or mountains or by the seaside. While you are in the early phases of Innovate and at the Create-ivity stage in particular you should spend a great deal of time combining Environs, Exercise and ART. Days, weeks - if you can maybe even months. After all you are trying to develop your one big @ha Idea - and you may spend more than 5 years developing it into a successful venture so take your time and get it right.

And don't get distracted. Leave that phone and your worries behind. There is no doubt that the more relaxed and uncluttered your mind is the more creative you will be. Leave your notebook behind and let one idea lead to another - let ideas run. Connect them and refine them slowly. Think hard first about what you are passionate about and great at - and put the @ha Idea in the context of that. After all, you will have to execute your @ha Idea so make sure it is for you and you can develop and exploit it best.

When you think you have stumbled upon/developed your @ha Idea keep exercising. Turn it over and over, let the @ha Idea run and let other ideas develop. Slowly. Surely.

And when your @ha Idea gets off the ground and you are into developing a venture do not forget the Create-ivity mix. Keep exercising in your stimulating environs regularly, at least weekly. Make Create-ivity and as a result Innovation a part of your regular routine.

So exercise, get creative. Innovate - change your life.
